Pete attended Hamburg Area high School and has always had a drive to work hard since the young age of thirteen. Pete and Dustin worked together for Greth Homes for over a decade during the late 1990’s to the early 2000’s in the Customer Service and Warranty Department. At the real estate crash they both found their own paths as self-employed contractors, but reunited in 2023 (after a lot of courting from Dustin and Brandon) when Pete decided to close his business and take his talents to KMB. Pete loves working at KMB because the customers are awesome! Outside of work Pete enjoys taking road trips everywhere with friends from school with a goal of visiting every national park in the US! Pete has a loving wife, Jenn, a daughter, and two grand-children. His motto is, “Life is short, so you have to get out and enjoy every minute of it!”

Dustin was an advanced student in the carpentry department of Vo-tech before getting into deck construction alongside his mentor, Mark Deininger with whom he worked for five years. Dustin then joined Greth Construction (Greth Homes) as a carpenter before being promoted to Service Manager. During this time, Dustin ran the Customer Service Department at one of Berks County’s top home builders, Greth Homes for almost 20 years while also earning multiple top national rankings in Customer Service. At the latter end of Dustin’s tenure at Greth, he built the first Remodeling department for Greth. He took projects from pricing, to construction, and through his warranty department before deciding to venture out on his own real estate investing interests and creating KMB Properties, LLC. Dustin change the name of the company in 2009 to KMB Homes due to the volume of remodeling requests and began offering home renovations.
Dustin is the company leader, master troubleshooter, and handles most of the big decisions in purchasing/selling rentals and remodel projects. However, he is the first to admit that it requires a TEAM to be successful. With the help of his wife, Monica Riegel, KMB Homes’ legal needs and accounting functions are kept running smoothly and in an organized fashion. Her role is primarily behind the scenes, but it is a vital one. She makes sure KMB does business the right way and billing happens efficiently and accurately.
